Practice Better

Marketing & Communications · Full-time
Toronto, ON, Canada · Remote

Practice Better has seen tremendous growth since its launch in 2017 because of an exceptional product and customers who enthusiastically champion it. Organic word-of-mouth has driven our expansion thus far and we’re now keen to test paid acquisition channels and add new marketing efforts to reach and acquire customers.

As the Growth Marketing Manager, you will work both independently and with agency partners to chart our go-to-market for paid marketing initiatives with the ultimate goal of achieving acquisition targets. You and our agency partner will continually test and analyze the performance of our growth marketing programs in paid channels.

In addition to driving growth via customer acquisition, you will also work with internal and external partners to support the ongoing optimization of our customer funnel, lifecycle programs, and website optimization initiatives - all with a keen focus on improving retention metrics and ultimately revenue.

This role is that of an individual contributor, but we are looking for someone with great leadership qualities who effectively manage agency partners. It’s a meaty job that requires attention across the entire customer lifecycle but we hope to learn a lot and have fun along the way!

Accountabilities:

Acquisition

  • Own and optimize acquisition through performance channels (Paid Search, Paid Social, Paid Media and Affiliate).

  • Managing agency partners and freelancers, enabling them to do their best work to help meet our acquisition goals.

  • Manage our media budget and work across finance, business intelligence/data teams to track, forecast, and report on results to senior management.

  • Enhance our current practitioner referral program. Conduct in-depth data and market analysis to identify growth and optimization opportunities.

  • With that insight, design and execute experiments to constantly improve lead acquisition, activation performance and drive down CAC (customer acquisition costs).

Activation, Retention, and Revenue

  • Partner cross-functionally with product, product marketing, content, and CS teams to design, develop and execute a range of initiatives to engage, nurture and convert prospects, as well as increase LTV.

Support other special projects, as needed.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in growth marketing or performance marketing.

  • You have a proven history of applying iterative methodologies to test and learn, optimize channel mix, and consistently improve ROAS.

  • You have strong project management skills; the ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional partners and agencies, prioritize high-impact activities, and keep complex projects moving forward.

  • You are highly analytical and able to create detailed reports sharing your findings.

  • You have experience in the core aspects of digital marketing (PPC, SEO, CRO, and CRM).

  • You have used the following tools and platforms: Facebook Ads, Google Ads, Google Analytics.

  • Motivated with a bias for action.

  • Team-oriented and have the ability to collaborate with different departments at Practice Better.

  • Domain knowledge, experience, or keen interest in the Health & Wellness space.

  • Live in Toronto, Canada (this job is remote-friendly).
